holiday lingo in a minute. Whilst the weather has been lovely here we’ve
all been out on a few holidays by the sea and seen more and more people
drinking our fabulous beer CUS-KEN-YA. Muchas gracias!

It makes us very happy to see people standing out from the sea of lager
and lime guzzlers and drinking something different from Latin America
that actually tastes great too.

It is holiday season, Cusqueña is Peruvian and people in Peru speak Spanish
so we thought we’d give you a short Spanish lesson (for those heading
off on their holidays) to survive at the bar and not just have to point
at stuff and look like a monkey!

Maybe
some people might be lucky enough to be going off to beautiful Peru where
this guide will come in handy too.

For those people heading to Spain look out for Cusqueña as Latin America’s
finest lager is on sale in some of the top bars over there.

culture - Peruvian Food

Culture
vultures that we are this week - it must be the heat – we’d now like to
tell you about Peruvian food!

When we went to Peru the food there really was unexpectedly great. Some
of the best in Latin America actually (we stayed off the Guinea pig)!

Seafood is really very popular and matches fantastically with Cusqueña.
One such dish is Cerviche and is absolutely great. You don't have to be
Gordon Ramsey to cook it. In fact, you don't have to be Madge Ramsey!

This next one is a little more taxing (not that difficult really). It’s
Chicken in Cusqueña which sounds weird but is great.

Wow!
What a thirsty and very sociable little country we have here.

Due to the fantastic weather we’ve had recently, people have been ordering
Cusqueña left, right and indeed in the centre in the bars, hotels and
supermarkets.

The
fact that we genuinely bring our beer from source unlike some other ‘imported
beers’ (brewed in Wales, Scotland & Burton) means that we nearly sold
out last week but a ship laden with our award winning beer has just arrived!
You won't have to go without.

Recommendations

We
get to meet lots of nice bars, restaurants & hotels as part of our
job. However, we’d be keen to hear some of your recommendations for bars
we should be stocked in or a favourite couple of bars you like to frequent
on a night out!
